TERMS OF USE OF THE UGOAUCTIONS AUCTION SITE

 

  1. General information

1.1. These Terms and Conditions determine the procedure by which users use the auction platform (hereinafter referred to as the Platform).

1.2. The platform operator is Ugo auto Ltd. , Reg. No. 40003944039, legal address Ropaži nov., Stopiņu pag., Rumbula, Kaudzīšu iela 32, LV-2121.

1.3. By registering on the Platform, the user confirms that he/she has read and agreed to all the Terms.

 

  1. Registration and user account

2.1. To participate in auctions, the user must create an account by providing accurate and truthful information.

2.2. The User is responsible for the confidentiality of account access data.

2.3. The Platform may refuse registration or deactivate an account if a violation of these Terms is detected.

 

  1. Product descriptions and technical condition

3.1. Product descriptions posted on the Platform are prepared based on available information.

3.2. Goods are often sold “as is” (AS IS), without warranty.

3.3. Before the auction, the user has the right to view the goods in person, if provided.

 

  1. Making offers-bidding.

4.1. The offer is binding and cannot be withdrawn.

4.2. Each item has a starting price and a bidding interval.

4.3. The platform may offer automatic bidding (auto- bid ), which increases the bid within the limits set by the user.

4.4. The winner is the bidder who has placed the highest valid bid at the time of the auction closing.

 

  1. Billing and commissions

5.1. The winner must pay the auction price + VAT and the specified commission fees ( buyer’s premium ).

5.2. Payment must be made within the period specified in the Terms.

5.3. The Platform may impose a contractual penalty for late payment or refuse further participation in auctions.

 

  1. Receipt of goods

6.1. The product is delivered upon receipt of full payment.

6.2. Transportation or delivery may be arranged at the user’s request and at the user’s expense.

6.3. The transfer of risk to the buyer occurs at the moment of delivery of the goods.

 

  1. Responsibility

7.1. The Platform is not responsible for losses incurred as a result of:

due to the provision of incorrect information,

due to technical problems or internet outages,

due to the actions of the buyer or seller.

7.2. The Platform is not responsible for defects in the product if the auction was held in an “as is” format.

 

  1. User responsibilities

8.1. Comply with the Rules and legislation.

8.2. Avoid manipulation, fictitious promises or attempts to influence the course of the auction.

 

  1. Dispute resolution

9.1. Disputes are resolved through negotiations, but if no agreement is reached, in a Latvian court.

9.2. In the event of any inconsistency between the English, Russian and Latvian versions, the Latvian version shall prevail.

 

  1. Entry into force and changes to the Terms

10.1. The Platform has the right to change the Terms at any time by publishing the current version.

10.2. The User’s continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
